The fourth-grade class had a special visit from State Representative, Donna Lasinski, before the school year ended.  Mrs. Lasinski taught the students about the legislative process in Michigan.  She encourage the students to be active in their community and make a positive impact.  The girls participated in a mock law voting process.  Each student was assigned a role in government.  Next, the students had to vote on a specific law to see how a law is passed through government.   It was very interesting and informative.  Thank you, Mrs. Lasinski, for sharing your morning with our classroom!
