Over Thanksgiving break, the Everest’s international program students enjoyed a memorable five-day adventure in the vibrant city of Chicago. The boys and girls spent their days exploring some of the city’s most iconic destinations while growing in friendship, gratitude, and cultural awareness.
From the moment they arrived, Chicago offered something new around every corner. Students wandered along the Riverwalk, took in the towering architecture of downtown, and experienced the city from above on the famous Centennial Wheel. One of the most special moments of the trip was attending Mass together at Holy Name Cathedral, a beautiful opportunity for the students to pause, pray, and give thanks during this Thanksgiving weekend.
The group also visited some of Chicago’s most beloved institutions, including the Shedd Aquarium, where they encountered an incredible variety of marine life. They explored Grant Park, discovered the art and architecture of Millennium Park, and enjoyed time together along the Magnificent Mile. Throughout the trip, the students embraced new sights, new experiences, and the chance to grow closer as a community.
