Five ECYD missionaries from Brazil, Costa Rica, and Chile visited Michigan for four days as part of their month long “summer program.” An ECYD missionary is a ECYD high school girl who volunteers for a month-long program anywhere in the world to grow in their friendship with Christ and share it with others through service projects, camps, retreats, and just their presence and personal testimony. During their week in Michigan, the missionaries spent time with international students, participated in Catholic Schools Week activities such as ice skating and recess times, led adoration for middle schoolers in religion class, and shared about their mission experience during ECYD.
