International students have been enjoying this snowy, Michigan winter. In addition to snowboarding and skiing adventures, they have also had some great winter outings.
The boys got to experience a University of Michigan basketball game! The boys loved the band and seeing other students excited and into the game and got to be a part of the win against the Washington Huskies! Cristobal Beckmann said his favorite part of the experience was the game itself, and in particular the second half because of the excitement as the game came to a close.
The girls laced up their skates and hit the ice for a fun-filled outing! Laughs echoed across the rink as they twirled, and occasionally wobbled, their way through the winter afternoon. Some were naturals; while others embraced the challenge; all with big smiles on their faces. Ice skating was the perfect winter adventure! It was a beautiful way to embrace the season together as a group, creating bonds and moments they’ll cherish.
The boys also had the opportunity to enjoy the Detroit auto show. It’s growing bigger every year, and the boys got to see a ton of cool cars not even released yet! Julio Fernandez got to ride in a new Jeep Gladiator (his dream car he said) and loved every second of it!
