The annual Mountaineer Mission day has become a favorite day for high school students as they head out with their peers to serve in the local community. This year, groups travelled to volunteer with several different organizations including:
- Prepared meals and organized the clothes closet at The Baldwin Center.
- Doing yard work, cleaning, and visiting with residents of The Well of Waterford.
- Packing supply buckets and helping in the warehouse at D.R.A.W. (Disaster Relief At Work).
- Volunteering at the day care and doing yard work at Grace Centers of Hope
- Throwing a prom for the memory care residents at Lourdes Senior Community.
- Wrapped toys for children with cancer at The Bottomless Toy Chest.
