“On Tuesday, October 3, the freshmen boys had their annual class retreat at the Subiaco Retreat Center in Oxford. The theme of the retreat was Authentic Manhood. The boys had the opportunity to listen to a variety of talks on the theme of authentic manhood, participate in small group discussions, have a moment of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, and attend Mass. There was also plenty of time for sports and games.
One of the participants, Mauricio Ramirez, commented that he enjoyed one of the exercises the boys did which focused on learning how to do contemplative prayer. He said it was good to have quiet time to get to know God better. Let us keep these boys in our prayers as they begin their journey through high school learning how to become mature men.” -Fr.
