Students, in their senior year and living in the attendance area of Clarkston Community schools may apply for the Garden Club scholarship. Students are asked to write a paragraph regarding the environmental activities they have been involved with during their youth. Students also submit a list of activities they have participated in both high school and the community as well as two recommendations from adults.
Recent EC graduate, Nathaniel Beggs, attended the annual meeting of the club this week and received a $1,500 scholarship along with three other students. Nate enjoyed sharing about his family’s cattle raising with the group. Congratulations, Nate!
