Each year, all Everest students participate in a forensics public speaking competition. The high school finalists competed in the categories of poetry, prose, and oratory on Thursday, April 7. The pieces presented were impressive in their delivery, presentation, length, and content – ranging from the book of Romans to President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address and excerpts from Animal Farm and Beowulf. The competition was extremely close. Congratulations to our participants, finalists, and winners!
