On Friday, March 11, nine middle school students were inducted to Everest’s Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. Inductees have been working throughout the year to meet chapter requirements, apply, and be approved by faculty. They have demonstrated the pillars of the National Junior Honor Society of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. The new inductees were joined by the 17 current NJHS members in making the pledge. Students will work with faculty advisor, Mrs. Karen Beggs, to complete service projects together. Students also must maintain the standards that make them eligible to be NJHS members.
