The middle school girls participated in an evening of fun at the annual lock-in. It may have been year off or the fact it was the first lock-in for all except the eighth graders, but many girls shared it was the best one yet. Several of the activities included a photo booth, bingo, tie-dye station, dance party, nail and hair station, lots of snacks, and much more. What made it even more special this year was the opportunity for the girls to spend some time in adoration which took place in the academy courtyard.  The girls had the opportunity to take a break from their fun and spend a little time with Jesus, and they also had the opportunity to go to confession.

Several of the girls were asked, “What did you love most about the lock-in?”

Ginny Grove said, “I loved all of the activities.”

Jadyn Hoffmann said, “In school, we really don’t get to associate much with the 6th and 7th grade. It was nice because I felt like I got to know them better and spend more time with them.”

Natalie Cross said, “I really enjoyed the bonfire, dance party, and adoration in the courtyard with all the lights and candles.”

Olivia Leahy said, “I liked the dance party in the courtyard and adoration.”

Clare Terbrack said, “Being able to hang out with friends and doing the different activities.”
