EC football cinched their fourth straight CHSL Intersectional 2 league title last week when they beat Shrine 41-7, remaining undefeated for the season. The win secured them a spot in this year’s CHSL championship game at the annual Prep Bowl. The team has won back-to-back Prep Bowl championships the past two years.
Everest prides itself in “athletics played with purpose,” and there is so much more to participating in sports at Everest than simply winning. Teams set goals, build friendships, pray together, and do service together. Where could the EC football team be found on a championship week?
