October is the month of rosary. On the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, October 7, elementary students traditionally pray a “living rosary.” A living rosary is when people are used to represent each bead of the rosary. Each person leads one prayer of the rosary. Students usually gather outside or in the academy commons to pray together. This year, due to COVID restrictions, students prayed together in their individual classrooms united with the prayers led over the PA system.

Mrs. Radich, the academy religion teacher, has been teaching the student prayers. The kindergarten class even made rosaries!
