This past spring, EC now sophomore Diego Kittinger was the impetuous behind EC’s new sailing club. While COVID delayed things a bit, this fall he has now participated in two events representing the Mountaineers.
This past weekend the EC sailing club represented Everest at Pontiac Sailing Center in Keego Harbor. EC competed against teams from southeast Michigan including Detroit Country Day, Detroit Mercy, Seaholm, West Bloomfield, and Troy Conditions where ideal for racing on Cass Lake allowing the teams to compete in 14 races through the day.
