Everest Academy’s chapter of the National Junior Honor Society learned about Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, and also read scripture about God’s love for his animals. During their meeting, the members were able to make 36 cat toys made of fleece to donate to the Michigan Humane Society. They were happy to show their love for God’s creatures.
