The graduating seniors were given the opportunity to break out of Everest in a new take on the Escape room concept. Put together over the last six months by the Everest Collegiate high school teachers and coordinated by Matt Mileski, this four-hour experience spanned 16 rooms, 100 puzzles, and concluded with a final message in the chapel. Students had to test all the skills and knowledge they gained I’m their time at Everest in order to solve the puzzles and move forward. A special thanks to Krista Willertz, Carolyn Mansour, Matt Hale, and Rose Wieber for helping set things up the day of the event.

The evening was truly a special experience for the senior class. Graduate Grace Lowney cited it in her senior honors night speech as the moment when what Everest is all about all came together for her.
