Last month, Mr. Cross and some middle school boys took time out of their busy schedules to help the Ladies of Charity. The Ladies of Charity is an organization associated with St. Hugo’s in Bloomfield Hills that collects food and clothing to help those in need. This year, the boys unpacked over 3,500 food items to create an assembly line so they could pack over 276 bags to feed 124 families for the Easter. It was a great way for the boys to make a sacrifice and give back to God in thanksgiving for the many blessings God has bestowed on them.

Ladies of Charity representative Lori Anderson sent the group a note to thank them and said, “The Ladies of Charity Clothes Closet and Food Pantry can’t thank you enough for your hard work and skills in staging for Easter dinners. Your energy and muscle is greatly appreciated!”
