When the theme All for Him:  Celebrating the Light of Life was chosen for the 27th annual Gala, we don’t think anyone could have imagined just how bright the evening could have been.

Chaired by Jennifer and Eddie Legg, we welcomed over 320 guests into a black and gold themed ball room.  With support of 19 sponsors and over 25 gala committee members, we knew the night would be special!  Our community of faculty, staff, consecrated women, priests, current and alumni parents, grandparents, alumni, and new business partners helped contribute to the success of the Gala in many ways.

We recognized our distinguished service award volunteer recipient Wil Gonzalvo and our faculty and staff recipient Ann Lowney.  We had many special guests in the room, including Everest founder Fr. Lorenzo Gomez, LC, and former formation director Fr. Daniel Pajerski, LC.  Fr. Gomez added a special spark to our Live auction!  Fr. Daniel helped us recognize Beth and Charles Phyle for the creation of the Fr. Daniel Pajerski Scholarship, which was awarded to graduating senior, Trevor Myers.

The proceeds will help us fund permanent lights on the athletic field. With a sold-out event and record-breaking proceeds, the night ended with smiles and joy. It was truly All for Him. And it was truly a celebration of the light as captured in the night’s opening video.

Jennifer and Eddie passed the baton to our 2020 Gala chairs, Don and Jennifer Engle and Dominic and Jaclyn Vicari.

The Everest students, faculty, staff, priests, and consecrated women thank all of the attendees, volunteers, and sponsors for making the 2019 Gala a shining example of the gift Everest is to our community and in the life of each of our students. Thanks to you our light shines a little brighter!
