The time to visit the place that was “our home away from home is here,” said Rodrigo Bauer, one of the four alumni boys that flew in to visit in early February. In early February, Everest welcomed 16 international program alumni from the 2017-2018 generation. They flew in for a long weekend to experience the magic of Everest again. They met with their former teachers, classmates, and formators. They snowboarded, went shopping, and to the theater. Most importantly, they spent some time alone with Jesus in the Eucharist, renewing their friendship with Him, a friendship which was grew in their time away from home when they were at Everest.

The first full day started with First Friday Mass in the academy gym as they had when they were students at Everest. Then visit the caculty and had lunch with their former classmates. Immediately after lunch,  the went shopping and to finished the day the traditional “Black and White Party” with all the middle school students.

Other highlights included an outing to the Harlem Globetrotters, the EC winter dance, and snowboarding at Pine Knob. After a full weekend, Monday arrived, and it was already time to fly home. “We leave sad because we want to stay longer but we are happy that we could be here once more,” said Marcelo Fernandez before departing to the airport.

The international program leaves students with memories that last a lifetime! Once an Everest student, always an Everest student!
