Sean Leahy

“According to the fourth-grade class, cheerfulness looks like smiling, it sounds like laughter, and it means being a good sport, staying positive, helping others feel good, and not complaining. One student in particular brings cheerfulness to the classroom each and every day. This student is always smiling and laughing. He is a good sport both in and outside of the classroom. This student is always cognizant other how others are feeling and does what he can to bring cheerfulness to their lives. ‘Cheerfulness is contagious. But don’t wait to catch it from others. Be a carrier’ (wisdom quotes). Sean Leahy is a ‘carrier’ of cheerfulness and is a light to all. It is with honor that I nominate Sean Leahy as this month’s Mountaineer of the Month.” -Mrs. Motyka, Fourth-Grade Teacher
