EC high school students recently received some very helpful advice from the Oakland County’s Prosecutor office at their EC fall assembly. Chief Assistant Prosecutor, Paul Walton, visited Everest Collegiate and urged the students to make good decisions as young people and upright citizens within our community.
Mr. Walton shared many stories and warnings regarding popular topics that make news headlines: online behavior and digital footprints, school threats, use of discriminatory language, bullying, and the dangers of drugs and vaping. Students also learned about the importance of using discretion when posting online and tips for informative decisions have the ability to potentially influence future career plans. Everest Collegiate thanks Mr. Walton for coming to visit and sharing his expertise in his field.
