EC students taking marine biology will be creating and maintaining a saltwater aquarium as part of their classroom lab experience this year. Students in this course are provided with a basic system of knowledge of living organisms and the interaction of these organisms with the marine environment.
Mrs. Willertz and her class traveled this week to the nearby home of Dr. Michael Stafford, Everest parent and director of the Cranbrook Institute of Science. There the class learned about his unique saltwater tank set-up. Dr. Stafford will be helping the class order and set up their own tank later in the course.
