Integration Trips Set Tone for Year

Each year the Everest Academy sixth through eighth-grade students begin the year with the annual middle school integration trip. This overnight trip full of team building activities provides the students with opportunities to get to know one another better. The girls and the volunteer moms headed to YMCA Camp Copneconic in Fenton. They enjoyed many activities including the high ropes course, zipline, and time on the lake. Their night away wouldn’t be complete with some time bonding as classes with late-night conversations in their cabins before lights out.

The boys traveled to Mystic Lake YMCA Camp located in Mystic Lake, Michigan.  The weather was beautiful, and the boys and dads had a great time.  The boys participated in many planned activities with specific goals to help them grow as a class and grow closer to Christ.   In addition, the two full days were filled with challenging activities such as a high ropes course, giant swing, climbing wall, archery, canoeing, fishing, and the ECO-Challenge.
