Congratulations to our Mountaineers of the Month for February:

Micah Abraham is confident, flexible, and able to adapt to any changes that come his way, said his Junior Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Reichert. “He loves to learn and is always willing to help out his classmates.”

According to his First Grade teacher Mrs. Fazzoni, Max Iyer is a dedicated and conscientious student. “He sets a beautiful example of flexibility and a willingness to help anyone in need. He demonstrates his knowledge of the concepts taught in class through his active participation and high quality work. Max brings joy to our class with his optimistic attitude and virtuous behavior. He is a wonderful leader in our classroom.”

First Grade teacher Mrs. Massarello said Daniel Megala exemplifies the virtue of flexibility through his ability to listen to the ideas of others. “He is patient and always charitable with his thoughts. Daniel is also flexible with the daily changes that often happen in a classroom. He is the first to look for the positive in each situation and persevere with joy.”

Rebecca Berney is very helpful, and has perspective when we need to “roll with” problems, said Fourth Grade teacher Mrs. Duhaime. “She exemplifies the virtue of flexibility.”

Rachel Luginski is a positive role model in her First Grade class, according to teacher Mrs. Fazzoni. “She takes an active role in her learning by participating on a regular basis, whether in whole group discussions or small group activities. Rachel always produces quality work. She ensures everything she completes is to the best of her ability. She is also a compassionate and generous student who offers help to anyone who needs it.”
