When asked what made the Christmas trip one of the highlights of their years at Everest, International Program alumni Dany Garza and Paulina Cantu both agreed it was a turning point in their year, an opportunity to come out of themselves and forge deeper friendships with other girls in the program, especially those who they had not gotten to know as well during the first semester. The friendships formed by the international students at Everest, both with their international peers as well as with the day school students, are one of the lasting impacts of the program.

This year, the international girls had the opportunity to forge these same friendships during their trip to Europe, visiting Paris, Rome, Assisi, Florence, Milan, and Switzerland. They are looking forward to continuing to build these friendships during their remaining months in Michigan.
