The Everest “Parenting on Purpose” team hosted its spring session March 10 with a presentation entitled “Parenting with Boundaries: Helping Our Children with Adversity”. The guest speaker was Joe Lilly, a clinical social worker with Perspectives of Troy. He gave his presentation following the Fish Fry Friday dinner and Stations of the Cross devotion. Lilly provided parents with information and tips on how to balance the need to care for their children and the need to help them find their own way through occasional failures. It was a great night to mingle with friends and learn together how to address an important aspect of raising children.
