This past weekend 17 international program alumnae came back to visit their “home away from home” at Everest. The girls began planning their annual reunion trip before their year was even over, despite the inevitable homesickness they felt when they first arrived. This year their visit consisted of attending daily morning Mass at the school, visiting their teachers and friends, snowboarding at Pine Knob, and finally a celebration involving current international and middle school students.
When asked why they wanted to come back, their responses were similar. Pily said, “I really enjoyed my year at Everest, and I wanted to come back. I felt Everest was my home and the girls and ‘Misses’ were my family.”
Thanks for coming back and visiting girls! This will always be Your Everest!
