EC Girls Serve as Docents at Detroit Historical Museum
The EC Girls’ Michigan History class visited the Detroit Historical Museum on April 21, 2015. As a part of their final examination, the girls acted as museum docents and presented to a group of visiting 6th graders. Their teacher, Mrs. Hearn said that, while the girl’s were a little nervous, they did a tremendous job! “Their public speaking skills and knowledge-recall were great,” she said. “They represented Everest well and will be able to take the skills learned through this activity with them as they go off to college next year.” The girls who participated were Anna Stafford, Hannah Burgess, Claire Lasceski, and Madeline Cross.
