Golfers participate in the putting contest at the 2014 Everest Golf Outing.

Nearly 100 golfers enjoyed the 2014 Everest Golf Invitational held at the beautiful and historic golf course, Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, MI.  The weather was picture perfect and the competition was fierce.  For the first time in Everest golf invitational history, there was a tie for first place. The two winning foursomes each scored 61, or -11 under par – tying the course the record held jointly by Tiger Woods and Billy Mayfair.  The two foursomes were:

Scott LeVigne                                    Dave Smith
Mark Camaj                                        Tom Smith
Alex Wodnicki                                   Matt Smith
Vince Ivezaj                                       Jim Walsh

Members of one of the winning teams (Scott LeVigne, Marke Camaj, Alex Wodnicki and Vince Ivezaj) complete a hole.
Posing for the camera on the course is the other winning team, including Dave, Tom and Matt Smith and Jim Walsh.

Following a gorgeous day on the links, golfer and guest enjoyed a wonderful dinner, Chinese raffle, silent auction and awards ceremony.  Over dinner, Everest alum Megan Luttinen spoke about her experience at Everest and how it prepared her for college.  Megan is a freshman at Oakland University majoring in English.

We also had a wonderful host at Warwick Hills, and an awesome staff of Everest volunteers who helped make the entire day a great success.

Regnum Christi consecrated woman Michelle Reiff makes a shot as her teammates, John and Laura Arbogast, look on.

We would like to thank Clarkston State Bank and Deloitte for their generous contributions to our golfer gift bags. And we would like to extend a very special thank you to our generous corporate and hole sponsors and the many families and businesses who contributed raffle items for this event.
