The EA Public Class is an annual school event serving several purposes. For the parent, it demonstrates their child’s academic achievement, as well as human formation, and for the student, it provides an opportunity to synthesize concepts learned in each subject class, as well as for them to present themselves in a public forum in a mature and professional manner. For the teacher, the Public Class allows them to do an informal evaluation of the effectiveness of their teaching.  Because the event is held at the end of the academic school year, the preparation and presentation of the Public Class serves as a practical and engaging means for reviewing and communicating the intellectual, as well as human, aspects of the year’s curriculum.
