Thanks to all the Everest staff and students who contributed to our “Relief for the Philippines” efforts.  Through the “jeans days” held before break, our school here in Clarkston, Michigan, raised $3,200 to help the Philippines’ school in these photos. “This situation is a good reminder of all that we have to be thankful for,” commented our Everest Principal, Greg Reichert. The photos were supplied by Betty Rivera, one of the Regnum Christi consecrated women who works at Everest Academy in Manila. (Our “sister” school in the Philippines was not damaged in the typhoon, but the students there also participated in relief efforts for their neighbors, including those at this badly damaged local school.)

Students study in temporary tent while repairs are made to their school.
