This Sunday, October 20, 2013, Regnum Christi consecrated woman Kathie Tuttle will participate in the Marathon in Columbus, Ohio, running just over 26 miles to raise awareness, and hopefully donations, for vocations.

Katie who now works in Oxford, Michigan, said she was inspired by Everest Formation Director Fr. Daniel Pajerski, LC, who ran in both the Chicago and Boston marathons to raise money for the Legion of Christ seminarians.

Since Katie is from Columbus, Ohio, and her cousin, Christopher, is studying for the priesthood in Columbus at the Pontifical College Josephenum, she choose to run in the Columbus Marathon.  Katie hopes to raise funds for the Columbus seminary where her cousin is, as well as for the Immaculate Conception Program for girls who want to begin a process of vocational discernment in Regnum Christi.  The girls in the program live at the Queen of the Family Retreat Center in Oxford, and attend school the Everest Collegiate Girls’ High School.
