Running for the Priesthood

Fr. Daniel Pajerski

Last year, Fr Daniel competed in the Chicago Marathon, in which he placed among the top 4 percent of competitors.  His impressive performance qualified him for a coveted spot in the Boston Marathon.

He will be running in the marathon April 15, 2013, but he is not running to win accolades for himself.  He is hoping to garner financial support for his fellow brothers studying to be Legionary priests at their seminary in Cheshire, Connecticut.

“God has given everyone different talents and if I can use running to promote the priesthood, I figured the Boston marathon would be an excellent way to do it,” said Fr. Daniel.

Fr. Daniel – You have my pledge and my prayers for a successful run. As an added incentive, if your time is less than 3 hours I will double my pledge! God Bless you!
