Sophomore Girl’s Retreat “Back to Basics: God in My Life”

The Sophomore girls’ class retreat was an experience of communication with God and others. The 10th grade girls had times of prayer and dialogue. One of their most memorable workshops (after the Eucharistic Hour) was to build a class cross that they would keep with them until their 2015 graduation.

During meditation in the chapel they had time to reflect on what Christ did with his hands while he was here on earth, and then to ask Him, “What do you want me to do with my hands?”

Overall the retreat provided the students with time to be alone with God in silence and opportunity to share what God is doing in their lives with their peers.
