Everest is the Only School in Michigan to Earn Both Awards
In a league all its own as the “only school in Michigan” to achieve two prestigious distinctions, Everest Collegiate High School & Academy has been recognized as a Catholic Education Honor Roll School of Excellence since 2012 by the Cardinal Newman Society, an organization that promotes excellence in Catholic education across the United States. In addition, the school received 2016 honors as an Exemplary High Performing National Blue Ribbon School from the U.S. Department of Education.
Proven Mountaineer Might on the Courts and Playing Fields
Since Everest Collegiate opened its doors in 2008, the high school athletics program has fielded championship teams 66 times throughout a large cross section of sports, including: Boys Varsity-Football, Basketball, Baseball, Golf, and Hockey; Girls Varsity-Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, and Softball. In 2016 alone, EC won 6 championships, as well as EC Football Coach Mike Pruchnicki being named MHSFCA Region 14 Coach of the Year.
Celebrating 25 Years as a Catholic School of Distinction
Since 1991, Everest has pursued its mission to teach students to be Catholic Christian leaders who are capable of utilizing their strengths, so they can fulfill the unique plan that God has for each of them. To that end, EC graduates continue to excel. 2016 graduates averaged an ACT Composite of 26.96 and received an average of 72.9% of their estimated 4-year tuition in merit-based scholarships when choosing to attend a school where scholarships were offered.
