Celebrating in the End of the School Year

The week of June 3, Everest held multiple celebrations of students’ achievements over the past year.

The kindergarten graduation ceremony is always a highlight, with each student recognized for areas of excellence. After the ceremony, students proceed to the academy building courtyard to release balloons. This is a tradition to be carried forward each year, culminated on the day of EC Commencement ceremonies when each senior class releases balloons once again.

Everest’s eighth-grade students also celebrated a milestone, completing middle school and beginning their high school career. After their final exams, students enjoyed a class picnic at Clintonwood Park. Their closing ceremony began with a Mass followed by award presentations. Eighth-grade student Lucia Dominguez addressed the guests, reflecting with gratitude on her time at Everest and congratulating her classmates.

Third through eighth grade students were also recognized for their achievements at their closing ceremonies. Awards included Perfect Attendance, NUMATS participation, TOEFL, English as a Second Language, Study of the American Culture, Spiritual Formation, Human Formation, Intellectual Formation, Apostolic Formation, and Semper Altius (pictured below).

The week’s celebrations concluded with a final Mass and good bye to the international students who attended Everest this year.

Everest wishes all our students and families a safe and blessed summer!
