Fun at Fifth-Grade Mother and Child Retreat

Quality mother and daughter time is priceless, and March 14 was one of those times for Everest Academy’s fifth-grade girls and their moms. The morning began with Mass, celebrated by chaplain Father Thomas Salazar, LC, whose homily encouraged the girls to practice the virtue of obedience in their relationship with their moms. Moms and daughters then spent time getting to know each other by playing a game that involved guessing each other’s “favorites”.  They discovered how much they already know about each other and learned a few new things as well!
