EC Students, Dads and Choices Detroit Help the Needy

truck 3

Thirty-eight needy Detroit families, all living below poverty level and including terminally ill children, received Thanksgiving baskets and turkeys through the work of the organization Choices Detroit, which includes many women and families from the Everest Academy and Everest Collegiate High School community.  Choices Detroit worked in cooperation with the Sisters of Christian Love and Sister Judie Ann Ruggirello.  (The turkeys were donated by Thurswell Law and Standard Die.)  Choices Detroit would like to thank the EC students and alumni who assisted —  Blake Burgess, Joey McMahon, Simon Fenske and Grant Burgess — and EC dads Rick Burgess, Eric Fenske and Pat McMahon.
