In Gratitude for our “Mary Garden”

The Everest family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You!” to the women responsible for so beautifully keeping up the garden that surrounds the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the center of campus.

The volunteers responsible include Heidi Dexter, Jessie Estrada, Laura Wilborn, Lidija Gjonaj, Kristin Fleming and Liana Durocher, as well as the one who coordinates all the volunteers, Leslie Harris.

Most recently, the ladies planted a colorful selection of mums at the statue’s base surrounding the stone in gratitude for the school’s founder, Fr. Lorenzo Gomez LC, installed during the summer vacation. The stone is engraved with a prayer for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.

In honor of Fr. Lorenzo Gomez LC, a stone with a prayer for vocations.
