Bless the Baby Jesus and Pancake Breakfast at Everest

This Sunday, December 8, 2013, is a special day at Everest.  Bring the baby Jesus from your nativity scene at home and have it blessed during the Mass at 9:30 am in the Girls’ School gym.  (If you don’t have an infant statue, small baby Jesus figures will be available.) Afterwards, you can help the Everest Collegiate seniors raise money for their upcoming trip to the Holy Land by attending the Pancake Breakfast!

At 10:30 am, enjoy the all-you-can-eat breakfast with St. Nicholas (Santa as he is commonly known) in the Boys’ School gym.  The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 4 to 12, and children under 3 eat free.  The maximum price per family is $35.  During breakfast, Santa will be available in the school library for photos.  Please bring your own camera!

FYI – Dec. 8 is the traditional date for the Immaculate Conception — the US Bishops moved the observance this year to Monday since the holy day falls on a Sunday in Advent.  And the Monday this year is not a Holy Day of Obligation.  Go to the following link for more information:
